Glendalough lies in a glacial valley is one of Ireland’s most prominent tourist attractions, and also a regular haunt for walkers, hikers and climbers, the “spinc” walk being a favourite of mine. It is best known as an early medieval monastic settlement from the 6th century, founded by St Kevin. It is an area of outstanding scenery.

This panoramic shot is comprised of several vertical photos stitched together, which can then be printed to a large size. It was shot on a winter morning, with the early morning sun providing some low angle light.

It’s one of very few prints I’ve had printed for my own pleasure, hanging on my wall.
