The Stick Bridge is a place close to my heart as much of my family grew up in the local area and is situated next to the famous Dromona Creamery which manufactures dairy products for all of Ireland.

I can remember fishing in the area as a child and standing on the bridge when I wasn’t even tall enough to look over the edge at the River Maine.

This panoramic photo was taken on a cold December night in 2015 and the light from the local creamery illuminated the massive trees in the area, which gave it a magical effect.
